Q: What is the maximum capacity of the La Marigalante?

A: We have two different tours per day with a maximum capacity of 260 passengers each.

Q. I already have my Pirates of the Bay ticket, Do I need to check-in?

A: Yes, once you arrive to the maritime terminals remember to pay the Port Fee to enter and after this it is very important that you walk direct to the pirate booth to exchange your coupon for your boarding passes.
Remember if you are traveling with an infant it does matter if you did not pay for him, you still need a boarding pass.

Q. If I travel with a handicap person can we get onboard?

A: That is correct. The ship has very wide spaces to handle a Wheel chair, plus we get you transportation inside the maritime terminal. Don’t forget to mention at the time of your booking that you need special assistance so we can give you a better service.

Q: Can I have a private group or wedding in any of the tours?

A: Yes, we can handle your group either in private or in share basis. Just send us all your group information and a little description of what you are looking for. For more information click here.

Q: I am vegetarian, do you have any option for me?

A: Of course we do! We recommend that you mention this at the time you do your reservetion.

Q: Does the price includes beverages?

A: That is correct remember once you purchase your ticket you are a member of the Pirate crew which means you have an Open Bar during the whole tour that includes: purified water, juice, soda, beer, red and white wine, brandy, rum, tequila, vodka, kalhua and a great variety of cocktails.

Q. Do I have to carry extra cash?

A: As you know everything that you read on the tour description is included in your ticket, except the souvenirs at the Pirate Store onboard and the gratuities for the staff at your service. 

Q. How much average for Gratuities?

A: Like any other place we consider 10% to 15% if you got a great service that you must.  

Q. Do you have bathrooms on board?

A: Yes we do.  

Q. What are the dinner types available?

A: We have three different options which are beef medallions with a shrimp brochette, Chicken Cordon Bleu or mahi-mahi fillet; each accompanied by rice and green salad. 

Q. When does the boat not go out or return early?

A: Only if they close the Port under bad weather conditions & June 1st that is the Navy Day.  

Q. What can be done in case of Emergency?

A: All our staff is trained to act immediately & know exactly what to do in case of emergency, the Ship is equipped with radio communication direct with the Port Authorities. We have a boat available at all time. 

Q. Are there refreshments available on board besides dinner time?

A: No, we do not have any kind of refreshments besides dinner time. However we do not have a problem if you bring any refreshment on board.
